Naked and famous denim - Page 679

Naked & Famous Weird Guy LHT Restocked

LHT is Back! Naked & Famous first introduced the Left Hand Twill fabric with the fall 2011 collection which was extremely popular due to its simplicity. It has a beautiful indigo color, a weight that can easily be worn year round, classic details, and a great price at only $140. Left hand twill, also known as "s twill", is a weave in which the grain line runs from the top-left hand corner of the fabric to the bottom right which is the opposite of right hand twill. It was originally used by Lee denim as its basic denim and now used in many premium denim companies such as 45rpm, Lee Japan, Kicking Mule Workshop, and Naked & Famous. Left hand twill tends to wear down softer than right hand twill and thus a softer hand feel after washing. Left hand twill will also have different wear patterns as the fabric can emphasize streakiness or vertical fading.

Naked & Famous "Weird Guy" Left Hand Twill 13.75oz Selvedge - $140
* The "Weird Guy" fit is slim with medium rise and tapers to the leg opening
* 5 pocket, button fly closure
* Hidden selvedge coin pocket detail
* Uses a 13.75 oz sanforized left hand twill selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms in Japan
* 100% cotton
* Indigo
* Made in Canada

Im looking to get a pair of N&F Weird Guys. I usually wear a 30. Should i get a 29 or 28?

post #10173 of 13309
@hollowpoints - Probably size 29 or 30. It depends how snug a fit you like. Which fabric are you looking at?

Also, for any of you who like fading contests, N&F just announced a new one: http://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/blog/new-fading-contest-3-kamikaze-attack-collabo/

I just chatted another time with them and, luckily, it was the person I talked to the other time.

They'll let me keep the Deep Indigos, refund the customs a second time and let me choose whether I want a whole refund or giving the Japan Heritages another try.

I think that's quite a good/obliging deal after all this trouble.

only problem I have with N&F is that the rise is way too unbelievably low. Seriously it's like I see an imprint of my... uhh you know. Seriously though everything else fits so perfectly. Also it's seriously riding up my crotch. Too late to return them though. Also some small minor defects but I think it gives the jeans character.

yeah that's pretty good. I would keep the jeans and have them send you the correct ones. Cool to hear they made things right

I'm glad KL is trying to make it right. I'd be really pissed if they did that twice. Hope you get the right pair this time lol.

DICK, they do have the wg highs if you find the rise too low.

Most people who complain about how 'low' the rise are people who are wearing low rise jeans where they would regular rise jeans. They pull a pair of low rise jeans so high that it crushes their junk

or people don't realize that the front of the jeans is supposed to sit lower than the back side.  the problem is if you don't have much of an ass you better hope the waist is snug to hold them up.

if you try wearing WG's low but with the front and back relatively even you end up with major diaper ass which doesn't really look all that great.  having a butt really helps...i don't have much of a butt :(.

^ Totally agree. I do have some ass so I fill it out well but the front crotch looks a bit tight even though I have some give on the waist. The nature of the WG I guess...

is that right? or did i do something wrong? won't new stacks/fades/combs negate what i did before?
thanks

no?
