Naked and famous denim - Page 670

I would love to have a pair of Momotaros...maybe even Iron Heart. I do admit that some models they've come out with are far out, but I think Brandon is just having fun

trying out new things or just b/c he can.

Those stainless steel jeans are pretty cool but totally impractical. I bought them for $200 on gilt (ugh). They run very small to size compared to other N&F (unfortunately I couldn't return them--really fun trying to stretch metal with your hips!!) and HURT. As in the back of my knees get cut up and bleed every time I wear them. So I basically never wear them.

I am also getting tired of N&F. I have 5 pairs but my next pair of jeans is going to be some Rogue Territory's which I expect to wear a lot.

Still really like my grey weird guys though.

I have all kinds of NF clothing, jeans, shirts, jackets, ect. No problems at all with quality. You should read the interview Brandon just had with Hypebeast, it touches on what you are talking about. NF has the core stuff and then the innovative stuff, like the stainless steel jeans that cost 400 dollars. The point is other companies sell jeans for 250 when NF sells them for 130. Everything is still raw, no ugly crap on the pockets, and someone was paid a fair wage to make it.

Never had a problem with naked and famous shirts or jeans and I have about 10 pieces of their clothes. Maybe their shirts are too tight for you, hence bursting at the seams lol. Their slim shirts aren't really made for anyone normal sized with a belly, but for really skinny people. Anyone pick up a regular fit shirt yet? I'm curious as to how they will fit compared to other brands' slim cut.

Ya I was thinking the same thing when I read the post. So many people trying to size down way to much, I think you nailed the problem here, 4 plus shirts all ripped at the seams, hummm, a certain SNL skit came to mind when I read that!

Never had a pair of N&F denim give me any trouble. Probably at 8 pair or so over 3 years now.

Not too big of a fan on the shirts but the NF staple jeans are pretty good imo like deep indigo, left hand twill etc. I think people are misunderstanding that their jeans like the reverse fade are their main selling point, but those are just extra built upon the solid foundation that they already have.

Woah, the stainless steel jeans sound kind of awesome. (0)

What size, and are you selling?

I've been on the N&F bandwagon for about 3 years, and I love the stuff they do. I'm never going to buy the scratch-and-sniff denim, but who cares? It's amazing that they make it. Most of the jeans I own from them are just standard blue jeans with a great cut, but I admit my glow-in-the-darks are a riot every single time I wear them.

It's a truly innovative company.

Ggoofer, if those stainless steel jeans you have are size 31 or 32, let me know, I'll buy them!

theyre not tight at all. a cuff stitching coming undone or a shoulder stitch that was never stitch has nothing to do with the fit. but no they are not tight Band of outsiders has a much slimmer fit on me and never had an issue. i sold my 31 stainless steels to a friend. he doesnt wear em. i can ask if he'd sell them.

im not saying all their stuff is garage just that ive moved on and they arent for me anymore due to quality and gimmicks. I have found other companies that i prefer more and dont have the same issues. i understand that they ave a core of basics but theyre coming out with hyper color jeans next season. hyper colors like the shirts in the 80's.

Dude, if you piss yourself as an adult, you have bigger problems that deciding what jeans are cool. (I mean the proverbial "you", I'm not implying that TooAwesome pees himself.)

Thermochromic (not thermochromatic) works with heat, not humidity. It doesn't matter if you are sweating or not. It doesn't matter if you have pee in your pants or not. The color changes based on the temperature of the molecule in the dyestuff. The outdoor or room temperature will also have an effect on the color of the jeans.

All that being said, some will love this jeans and have fun with it. Others will not like it. That is ok. N&F has like 50 different styles each season, you can pick and choose the ones that tickle your balls the most.
