Any of you guys have exprience of the skinny guy in black power stretch? Is the leg opening as unflattering as the new cures?

I tried on a pair at barney's co-op a while ago. The power stretch fabric is really strange and doesn't feel anything like regular denim. I'm not sure what you mean about the leg opening in comparison to new cures but the leg opening on the skinny guys is fairly small, around 7" in a size 29"-30".

I have a pair of Indigo Power Stretches. They don't "feel" like regular denim because they have a thin coating that gives them a smooth sheen. Once it starts fading the coating will come off and it will feel like normal denim.

I've read about New Cures having "flare" at the hem and cannot comment if that's true or not, but the Power Stretch models are as described by N&F: straight all the way down. The exact measurement for my size 28s are 7".

Also please don't post generalized bs; yes size down 2 for Weird Guys but size true for Skinny Guys, the Power Stretch models at least. The 5% elastane makes it so that the Power Stretch only stretches out to a comfortable fit and holds it there. You'll keep an ideal fit without the possiblility of accidentally stretching the waist too large as with 100% cotton. For the same reason, I wouldn't have dared to size down on them (if it was possible anyway).

Is the fly opening on the slim guy and weird guy the same length for the same waist size. The reason I ask is that I got my first weird guy last week and the fly opening is so small that it is impossible to pee with the top button buttoned. Also the small length of the fly means that it is very difficult to put on the jeans.

Any thoughts ?

What is the weird guy fit most similar to, an APC New Standard? Or is it a little slimmer/baggier?

The fit isn't really comparable to any APC cut; very tapered below the knee, but not particularly slim in the thighs.
