Is it possible to find Ferragamo shoes on sale?

Interested in a pair of Ferragamos (Revivals) for interviews but don't want to pay retail. I've been told that the Nordstrom half-yearly sale is my best bet, but not a good one. Other suggestions?

(Also considering C&J handgrades from PLAL.)

Thanks in advance.

Check the outlet stores. That's where I've found the best deals.

You could check their outlet stores. There's one near Chicago, one in FLA, one in California, perhaps others. My experience and that of others suggests they are generally helpful with phone inquiries.

For C&J, you should check plal and pediwear. If you search the forum you should be able to find extensive information about both.

I was surprised to find multiple pairs of their loafers at Winners, I think they were 99 bucks.

What are "revivals"? unless they are Tramezza, your money will be better spent on C&J.

+1. The outlets had a tremendous sale in October/November where they were selling Tramezzas for $229.

When they're not running sales, the outlet average for a non-Tramezza is somewhere in the $250-300 range - not a great deal.

Other than that, if you really are keen on SF and want to pay less than $250, wait for ebay or this forum.

Speaking of C&J, where can one acquire them at good discounts (other than plal and pedi)?

I've picked up Tramezzas as low as $179 at outlets.

Thanks, guys. I do not know if the "revivals" are Tramezza. At first, I thought so, because they're expensive as ballz. I now realize Tramezza has two z's in it for a reason: they're expensive as ballzz, and the revivals are listed at "only" $550. Links so that you may provide better-educated guesses. http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/ca...4&ci_sku=N01RN http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2943517?...:referralID=NA

I have picked up C&J's at a discount from the Polo store in Chicago. Perhaps others can help more with anticipating their sales' timing. To my knowledge, they stock only one width, D.

Those are mainline SF shoes (better than the crappy Studio line but not as nice as Tramezza). The construction is not bad (blake-stitched) but I don't like the leathers on mainline SF shoes. They are too plasticky and some use corrected grain and badly done fake antiquing. I would definitely get C&J before those shoes for $550.
