They're typically going to be a lot faster than they look. Top notch weightlifters are pretty damn athletic.

holy shit, he's got the same build as me and yet C&J's like 3x as much.

Yeah definately makes my bw c&j seem insignificant.

No kidding... Explosive lifting FTW? A lot of people would be happy to deadlift that weight.

Because he's better trained and you don't have the same build as him.

^ I think Eason meant same general body type. I was doing jerks this morning...with less than half that weight. Got a long way to go.

same general body type, I have a bigger upper body but smaller quads, his are fucking massive I notice

His ego's smaller, too. In reality, he has a decently-built upper body but it looks kinda tiny next to his lower body.

pushups, pullups, dips, curls, skullcrushers should do the trick. good luck.

No matter what you're doing, pullups or chinups, or what hand grip you're using, you will ALWAYS use your forearms, shoulders, lats, and biceps to pull yourself up to the bar.

If you can do 100 pullups, try weighted pullups using a dip belt and what not. Shoot for a ten rep max of however much weight you can put on.

Most athlete's lower body will be bigger than their upper body... in fact, that's the way it should be as an athlete's power is generated from the lower body: the posterior chain, your core, your glutes, and your hamstring. This holds true for olympic athletes, football stars, baseball players, golfers, etc.
