They might be one of the worst professional teams I have watched in a long time. There is some talent on the team for sure, but how it is all put together and how they perform as a team is appalling. It's gotten so bad my brother in law calls me to let me know when they are actually winning at halftime.

I am a long-time knock fan, but I am not sure I would even recognize any of the players. I am pretty sure I could spot David Lee in the Knick lineup (but not on the street). And Marbury, if he ever plays again. The only familiar face is Isaiah's, and it would be worth giving up some more draft picks to unload him.

Only five teams in the East with records above 0.500. The Eastern Conference playoff race is like the lottery--everyone has a chance!

I might have my own personal satellite in orbit in time for the Knicks' playoff run.

Yep, the only real threats I see are Boston (especially when healthy), Detroit, Orlando and possibly Cleveland....aside from that, the remainder are less than decent (sadly I need to put Toronto in the same cat).

I don't watch the NBA like I do NCAA, but I still catch the highlights from time to time.
Isn't that how the East has been for the past 5 or more years?

Was that like the time estimate that the cable company gave you? Instead of saying "the service representative will be there between 8:00 and 5:00 on Tuesday" they just said "don't worry, we'll have it working before the Knicks make the playoffs".

Oops, my bad, I didn't consider three-and-out-of-the-playoffs a 'run'. I usually consider a few wins a requirement for a legit playoff run.

Isaiah Thomas will lead them to the promised land. Just you wait.

Isn't this already his 5th season there?

Has he done anything but bring controversy??

FLMM, I realize your post was probably in jest, but just a few thoughts.
