I was really bored at work and I had read every post that I could see on styleforum, so I decided to just set out and explore the internet in search of something I haven't seen in what seems like the million hours I've surfed the web.  Then I came across the site blogger.com and I decided, what the hell, theres a lot of stuff I would like to get off my chest but don't really want to tell people I know.  Now I'm curious, does anyone else write a blog or read them or anything?  A diary seems a little too girly for me, and this seems like a better way to keep a chronicle of whatever I want to talk about, or at least thats what I keep telling myself to try and justify it.

If you ever get bored enough, you can head over to my Livejournal. My close friends have always told me that my life is their comic relief, so I decided I might as well chronicle those events. You can find the results at the following address... http://www.livejournal.com/users/nola_gent32/ I'm a bit long-winded... but some people seem crazy enough to believe that I have a way with the written word.

I just started mine a little while ago just to vent, mostly about girl induced drama. It's nice to be able to just write whatever I feel like writing without having to worry that much about what other people are going to think. It's also nice to see that other people are doing the same thing.

Unfortunately, that's been a recent motif for my entries. I swear, I write about other stuff, too. It's just that those awkward situations with the fairer sex always seem to provide good material.

I've had a website since '99, I think. It's updated infrequently. The biggest mistake I made with it was telling friends it existed.

Ive had different websites since about sophomore year, so about 98 or 99, but those were mostly pictures and stuff like that. I kinda like bein able to write and not have to worry about the whole HTML and Java things.   Since you guys gave links to yours here's a link to  my blog, although I don't know how interesting it is gonna be.  It's pretty short and I dont think I'm the best writer.

Digging up this old topic to add that I started a blog of my own a few weeks ago.  Its called The Night Fighter and you can check it out at the link there.  I'm not saying it's Pulitzer material, but I have a good time with it. P.S. Navy, I hope you don't mind but I put you on my friends list, to keep up with your far superior site.  And CT, I check your site frequently too.

I wonder the same thing, now that I've had the page for a little while I find myself going for long periods without having any time to try to write anything, much less anything meaningful that someone would want to read.

TSloop - Your blog is interesting, but how about some definitions for us old guys that aren't up on the lexicon? I assume faded = buzzed/drunk/high but what about "on my tip" and "jockin you"? Bradford

faded means drunk, and if a girl or guy is "on your tip" or "jocking you" it just means that they are very interested in you
