Cougar Hunting

I've never been, but a friend has roped me into backing him up next weekend. Any tips? I'm not intimidated, don't get me wrong; I am probably much better equipped to head into a cougar den than your average twenty-something. It's just that most of previous my experience has been with, um..."kittens."

cougars are scarry....but fun..
You can learn from a cougar.

Some cougar meat is tasty, some not.

Try to catch a cougar that has few battle scars, they are the real prize...

It is legal to hunt them? And you are an expereinced hunter? If so go for it but i would want to to have a cougar attack me.

I'm fully legal to hunt 'em. And yes, I am an experienced hunter, but not for this particular species.

And I'm doing this because I *want* a cougar to attack me.

cougars are attracted to power or the lack of power, they work in opposites.
Cougars all love the taste of young meat.
Oddly, though considered a very aggressive animal, they seem to like to impart experience in their victims.
Never underestimate the physical strength of a cougar either, they may look a little slow or out of shape, but all cougars can get up and go!
SO, you are asking how to attract a cougar, or cougars into hunting you?

You are starting with tougher quarry than you need to for your first time out. You will have an easier time if you look for deaccessioned Starter Wives.
