I'm not a fan of car coats but that pea coat (Cucinelli?) looks great.

Despos did a sportcoat in the P&H Glenroyal.

I really like the 44512, especially as it appears in Despos's picture. Does anyone have experience with or pictures of 44517, which appears to be the blue/grey version of it? I might be giving up on finding a houndstooth suiting for now.

I have 2.5 metres of it and was going to have a pea coat made, but when I saw this car coat picture (spolier pic #1), thought that the herringbone might best be used for it instead, with a brown Donegal replacing it for the pea coat

I live in northern CA (SF) so longer coats are too warm. I'm leaning toward the car coat as seen in the first picture and then getting a Marling & Evans Donegal for the pea coat because herringbone seems like more of a formal coat to me and would fit the style better. What say thee?

That herringbone pea coat looks fantastic!  Never thought of herringbone, especially large scale, as being very formal so I'd personally go with the opposite what you said (if restricted to those two cloths and coat styles)

Does anybody have a jacket made with Harrisons Mirage? Is this a fabric that lends itself to patch pockets?

This is Harrisons Mirage 28425. The Jacket is done with bilateral patch pockets.

There is a new bunch of Harrisons Mersolair in 2014. This is a collection of pure linen, mohair+linen and pure cotton. We have uploaded the photos in our facebook. Enjoy~

What else did you pick up, L?

Any jacketings or suitings?

Looks good. I'm deciding between that and 28433. Does 28425 have a herringbone pattern? It looks like it does, while 28433 does not.

One last question. Does Mirage work well unlined?

Thanks.
