Really? They relaunch once in 90's IIRC.
I didn't see their books, and they don't list it on their website. so I don't know.
May be the tailors in SF can answer. smile.gif

If they relaunch the series, I should go to buy some more the orginal, it should be much cheaper happy.gif

I will ask my friend oversea as to the price and sample books. Maybe he can supply me a swatch for Littlebear's enjoyment.

For my understanding of what the Japanese tailor said on the web, those Sportex vintage was the relaunch of sportex many years ago, they are also run out of stock, just some of the old stock available.

Hi Stephen, it's great that you will talk about harrisons and lessers here. I have recently bought several pieces of them and am planning how best to make use of them rather than keeping them as unfunded liabilities ...

Stephen,
I have bought a piece of harrions frontier 67609, the reason being (as I am a newbie of bespoke suits) frontier is the cheapest wool fabric in harrison collections, great colour blue of 67609, and being 10oz a 4 season cloth ...
My questions are how come frontier's price is much lower than other harrions collections, and being cheaper is its quality just average ?

I think I better use my personal account:p

Maybe you can say Frontier is the basic suiting collection of Harrisons. Non super, no cashmere blend. It has a bit rough surface so you won't expect  "luxury" feeling. It emphasizes more on performance and breathability. Moreover, it has >90 patterns so it is a good choice for building up your wardrobe.

The same with other Harrisons collections, Frontier is made in the UK. I have just received my own navy windowpane Frontier suit, which I like it much.

Actually there are many 100% wool suiting collections just slightly more expensive.  For example, Fine Classics, which is a 12oz worsted suiting fabrics with many traditional patterns. Let me show you later. :fonz:

Frontier is great stuff. I have a suit made from it and I know Steed thinks highly of it.
