Well I just pulled the trigger on it, I hope it is as good in person. Worst case it'll be on B&S, but I certainly hope not, I think lovat should offer sample clippings.

Some interesting gauze like vintage fabric from Sember.   Not sure if these 1940s MOP fish eye buttons work well?  I'm sure Carl will let me know......

Both are very nice. I think the top one is SIC Tess. The mill has a very similar look and feel in their Cellostar collection.

Back on the summer suit/sport coat. Anyone heard of Delfino cloth? Specifically this hemp/wool. Would make a great casual sport coat.

I'm drawn to the tobacco brown shade

I have this jacket and has been one of my favourites from London Lounge. The fabric is soft but sturdy due to it's weight. This reddish rich brown which is very hard to find. Definitely a winner from LL.

Would a patch-pocketed odd jacket in the navy/white windowpane linen with white buttons be too #menswear?

SC to me。

I think it looks nicer as a suit. Here is an example (though I think the windowpane is bigger)

Def strikes me as a suiting. And not an attractive one at that.

Loro Piana? The designs look exactly the same as Solbiati's; makes me wonder if Solbiati produces it for Loro Piana (If it is Loro Piana)

No, those aren't LP (well, the first one might be, but the blue/white windowpane isn't. Not sure who makes them, but I recognize the book.

^ Yup, it's not LP; the book says Ormezzano.

Bit much for a suit, not enough for a sportscoat, IMO.
