Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread - Page 396

That last piece has the date labelled 9/18 1931. Frank clarified it for me. He's going to see if a reversible pea coat is a project his dad would do on the H&S.

Very cool. Especially that last piece.

Some of the Glenplaid Linen custom run from WBill that I recently had Gerald at Vanda make up as a 6-fold lined tie.

More info about the linen here, I still have some available for sale (PM for details as usual) -

Very solid move.

Some funded liabilities...pink is SG chambray from ASW; blue is London Lounge linen shirting. Happy with both, but especially the linen. Really great stuff. It's laughably expensive, but I am considering getting more:

That looks great. Love the collar roll.

What do you like most about the linen?
The color. Really nice foggy grey blue. Even better than the sg blue chambray imho.

Fabric also has really nice body to it without feeling stiff. Feels like it will last forever.

Wrinkle factor?
Very little wrinkling - nothing like a linen SC or trousers. I hung the shirt up after I wore it yesterday, I will take a pic when I get home so you can see how much it wrinkled throughout the day.

This is after a very full day of wear (like 10 am to 1 am):

A few pics of SG and LL linen next to each other. The LL is grayer, which I like:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Did you wash the LL linen prior to giving it to Geneva? If not, has the fabric shrunk meaningfully?

Didn't wash it, and haven't washed it since first wearing so can't tell you. While we're on the subject...should I wash this as a normal dress shirt? Or is protocol different for linen?
