Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread - Page 308

I agree with FX, I can understand that cloth isn't for everyone but as far as houndstooth goes, I think that one is as good as it gets.

Did you have it made up yet?

Not yet, maybe next year or the year after. How are you thinking to make it up? I'm thinking two patch with welt breast pocket, second option is a flap with a ticket pocket. Not yet decided but leaning towards patch.

Yeah, pretty much the same - SC with two patch pockets with a patch or welt breast pocket. Another option is a shooting jacket with an action back (even though I don't shoot). I guess they can make them with goretex lining making it a great foul weather coat. A bit worried about the loose weave though....

With some guidance from Slew, I am attempting to have minnis create an AFB POW fresco via a custom run and would like to see if there is enough interest to get to 60 meters. I am waiting on a sample from minnis and hopefully if this one works out, we can do more.

How many ply is that? Either way I am in for 4 meters if the price is kept at retail.

Absolutely no price markup, looking to do 14oz 3-ply, but I am open to other suggestions as I don't own any fresco suits, this will hopefully be my first

I would join in but I cannot stand the heavy fresco, just too uncomfortable for me. If you go for the lighter version, I'd be in

I am sure it will turn out great either way but I would think the AFB color would be more consistent with a lighter weight.

How is it different from the LL POW Brisa?
Could someone explain to me what the heck is the point of doing a summer fabric in a summer weave... in 14oz?

Don't join the LL groupthink and by default weave fabrics unwearable by all except the 5% who live in the far northern hemisphere.

I'll be interested if it is a lighter weight.

Nothing is set in stone yet, I'm open to more experienced fresco users suggestions for lighter weights and 2-ply vs 3-ply
