I have purchased from several Bonfanti ranges before and after their put up their site, including, in decreasing order of their weight Bristol, Capri, Belfast and New York. as well as their cotton/linen blends. I tend to prefer the sheerer fabrics so I usually stick to the Belfast and New York, which I find solid, durable and smooth. I also find that the Bristol and Capri shrink more after washing, so it's particualrly important to wash them before making them up. I've made up the linen/ cotton as dress shirts but it really doesn't work for me. It's great for sport shirts. I'm not sure that I like linen/cotton or plain linen for work but I did buy some of the LL linen for that purpose. We'll see. I'd also like to try Bonfanti's chambray range, Levanto.
If you want to get a better idea of Bonfanti's patterns and weaves, you can click on the website pictures and get enlarged shots. They also provide fabric width, weight and thread info (ie, 120's,170's etc).
