That looks real good

That looks really really good. Does Ercole typically put in some chest drape?

Looks good all around, Axel.

You don't happen to know the fabric # off the top of your head?

I think its 39248 in the flannel book. Dont quote me on that though. It is almost exactly the same color as Minnis flannel 0301.

Thanks for the reference - really helps to see it made up in that colour.

I'm thinking of leaving the gray flannel for a later commission and going with the 304 Air Force Blue flannel - DB of course.

Trini 304 Air Force Blue flannel - DB of course. Would love to see that made up. Time frame?

So I thought that with the delivery of a flannel suit a few weeks ago, all my bespoke orders were done and I was out of the game. Turns out I was wrong. I brought my new suit by the tailors today for them to have a look (it was fine) and it turned out that they had a fitting ready for me of a navy SB three-piece in a mohair blend. I do remember liking the fabric and was mulling over placing an order if there was any left, but decided against it. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I forgot that I already had. facepalm.gif

I'm in the market for a mohair. What fabric was it?

I haven't decided which youtube video to post - 'just when I thought I was out, they pull me back IN!' or 'I wish I knew how to quit you.'

So what are you ordering after the mohair? You don't need to pretend with us.

Last year’s Hammick Mohair was such a resounding success that it sold out in pre-orders before it had even arrived in the shop with us! With this in mind and to allay the disappoint-ment suffered by some of our customers, we are excited to have commissioned a new Hammick mohair for 2011. Once again, the cloth will be by extremely limited edition and restricted to just one piece. It has been woven with a blend of 73% merino and 27% mohair in a gorgeous indigo blue and to a comfortable 11/12oz weight.
I have a DB from the earlier version that is referenced-that one is a midnight blue as opposed to this one in indigo.

No. Really. I am done for a while and am trying to put myself in replacement-only mode.

Care to make it interesting?

Accelerated depreciation doesn't count...

Is Fresco 0520 for a sport coat a bad idea? I was considering it last weekend when NSM came to San Francisco, but asked Dino to hold the order until I made up my mind. I was between that and the 0516, truer navy. Given how many navy jackets I have at this point, adding another seemed a bit boring, though I suppose I don't have one in Fresco.

FWIW, I was considering having it made into a 3/2 roll SB summer jacket with 3 patch pockets and double stitching.

Thoughts?
