Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread - Page 227

Do you guys order swatches somewhere? It feels a bit risky to order a batch of clothing based merely on pictures viewed on the internet. Especially with screen monitor settings and picture quality that may display inaccuracy of the actual colors of the fabric.

As probably posted many times in this thread, most cloth manufacturers are very good about posting small numbers of swatches and can be contacted directly.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Does anyone know where one can source such a fabric, or something similar as illustrated above?

Many thanks!
Perhaps you, or someone else can provide further details, such as book and fabric number?

Sorry for bringing an old post, but would this fabric be a Spring or Autumn jacket?

I wear a jacket similar to that in autumn, with a brown or dark blue tie and suitable accessories, the fabric works very well for shoulder season.

My tailor calls it 'invernale' all the time, however I think that he is judging by neapolitan standards. I will wear this one in spring and autumn. and neapolitan winter of course smile.gif

Riviera? I love the color combination, price point is decent, but the tailor I use hates thin fabrics with checks...
