Going to get it exactly like the one I have now, not sure what you would call it (3roll2, flapped patch pockets, welted breast, belted back)

Cashmere herringbone is really not right for pants. Other ideas seem good.

Have you thought about a double breasted overcoat? Since switching to DB last winter, I can't imagine going back to SB....

it's a wool cashmere blend, I think it's 80/20. Although I have sold a bunch of 100% cashmere pants. Very warm, very light, I like them but obviously not workhorse pants like a 14oz worsted flannel or something

I'd say so...I asked for a more 'comfortable' fit. Mind you, it doesn't 'feel' big. The shoulder measurements actually match what I normally wear in RTW as well.
