Unfunded Liabilities: a/k/a The Cloth Thread - Page 1196

Agiffy, so for a 9 month weight you are exempting the coldest 3 months in the year?  Looking for a lighter weight version?

For NYC I think of summer as the season that requires different jacketing/suiting from the other 3 seasons. I have a couple heavyweight suits for the coldest days, but other than that almost everything works for winter, spring and fall and is 9-13 ounces. Summer wardrobe is a constant source of frustration for another day.

Hey guys, anyone buy vbc fabric here (anyome sell direct)? Whats the general price range for a super 110s navy? Just something basic.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Would this work for a SB blazersuit?

Minnis Fresco 0571

I think a faint windowpane like that 0571 won't look great as a SC.

Sorry, sold it to a forum member a year or so - not sure if he had it made up or not.

I have this photo of Dugdale Worsted and Cashmere saved that looks pretty nice. It might be 1313 from the Super 120's and Cashmere book but I'm not sure. If so, it's 10 oz.

@venividivicibj Was the Dormeuil Ice one of these?

That's nice. Maybe not particularly hard-wearing for the trousers but good looking.

If it's the 1313, it's only 1% cashmere, so maybe not too delicate.

Its like the 2B without the windowpane. They did have different ones with windowpanes though. There was a purple, and a blue (maybe others as well)

I don't know dugdale at all but not sure I want to trust them in a super 120 for a bespoke suit regardless of the cashmere content.

I have three suits made from Dugdale's cloth and all of them are excellent. I wouldn't worry...

I have one suit from a 13 oz. Dugdale sharkskin. I find it on par with the usual suspects.
