I have a navy Botany in the works, around 14/15 oz I think, which will probably fit the bill. Have opted for half lined though, due to the weight...

Smiths Botany is more 12/13. Good stuff, though.

You are quite right, my bad. What I have in the works is actually a Steadfast, not Botany smile.gif

This is the one I mentioned above:

Anyone made up a summer jacket in Caccioppoli linen, c.9oz...? Just pondering having one made, mid/dark blue, pretty casual and unstructured/quarter lined for off-duty use.

Not worried about creasing, but I am generally one for heavier and English cloths so interested if anyone else has experience of quality and performance...

Thanks. How does that wear at higher temperatures?

^ I wouldn't wear it in the summer. Any other time and I feel fine.

Can anyone recommend a sport coat fabric in a black/grey/blue in a smaller pattern such as shepherd check, gunclub or houndstooth.

I mostly have grey, charcoal, navy trousers.

Anything along the lines of this picture.

I have something very similar in a smaller scale pattern made up...its from a Loro Piana book...about 8/9oz...though I can't remember which book.

As does H&S Ascot

Take a look at Defino Maremma. It might be a bit lighter but it's a great fabric.

Does anyone have any experience with Ariston's jersey double face fabric?

The only thing I could find from a quick google search was a B&Tailor tumblr post.

I'm doing a special run of Minnis Rangoon (8/9oz tropical worsted that was discontinued a few years ago) in a navy shade that's perfect for a go-to business suit. It's the same shade of navy as 0579 in the Fresco 2 bunch (see photo). Please PM if you are interested. Thanks.
