Is there a way to access Caccioppoli (sp?) without a tailor having physical books of it?

Obviously not books of swatches, but access to pics of said swatches, etc.

http://caccioppoli1920.tumblr.com/ normally has a lot as does the BN Tailor tumblr site.

@edmorel may have other stuff.

I saw that, but was looking for something non-gunclub.

I've actually visited them in Biella and they had a small storefront where you could buy cut lengths of cloth. Not sure if they do mail-order, though.

I found something similar to that from W. Bill, but was hoping for a brown/cream base...

Thank you all for the suggestions. I didn't think it would be so hard to find a comparable cloth, though. Akamine's Royal Line had a SC made in a similar fabric and it caught my eye a few years back and I saved the pic (4th from the right):

Still keeping my fingers crossed for finding what I want!

You can also try the Merino Brothers website:

I believe Caccioppoli regularly updates their collection, so I'm not sure how current the MB pics will be.

I've got a length of Hardy's Worsted Alsport I would be looking to unload, which might come close.

That actually reminds me of this John Hardy run. Don't know if it's still around though.

Thtat would have been a great MTO through Formosa

Sure, but as shown through a few examples in this thread, there are many alternatives for this type of pattern and colors. Some are IMO at least as good if not better.

True, but I really like the colors on that paired with the larger lapels of Formosa

That's the Riviera 7501. I also have that pic saved in my folder of "wish" fabrics.

I vaguely recall following the discussion on alternatives, but was there ever a consensus on the best match?

Fabric still available, by the way, dan'l was looking for a summer weight.

That said, bunches that might include this are Huddersfield's Aimbry jacketing (which I'm quite sure is a B&O rebrand) as well as Holland and Sherry's Ascot bunch.
