I only need a solid blue, FWIW, not too dark but dark enough to be "business"

I have a kind of dull, sheeny capri blue mohair that I don't wear so often any more. It's a big gigolo-ish. It does draw a lot of comments ...

I just got a suit made up in Cool Breeze. It is in the lightest weight (I believe 7.5 oz) and is a shade lighter than navy. I love the color. The fabric is nice and wears cool.

Anyone know if any shops in the garment district carry Ermazine linings in stock?

FWIW, that HY is definitely not a midnight blue, I have one. It's a light-ish navy.

I showed several photos of LL fabrics to my tailor and that is the one he zoomed in on. I can't wait for mine to arrive, and neither can my tailor.

Among the books I have seen in recent times, the Cape Breeze Collection from Dugdale Brothers, which has 30% Summer Kid Mohair, is excellent and great for summer wear.

American sember will be open this weekend while they continue to pack up for the move
open
saturday and sunday from 12-4
call before showing up
212 889-6188

I got to American Sember this afternoon.

Still many wonderful things available.

I like distinctive weaves, may or may not be SF approved. Whatever. These four are all cotton except for the blue and white, which is cotton and silk. Not sure of mills.
