Harrisons site says they range between 12.5 and 17.5 ounces?

Also, are the ones you like woolen or worsted?

I was talking about worsted to answer your comment that one should only look at Fox for it.

Fox worsted flannel, although nice at first, it has not held up very well for me.

Harrison is much more hard wearing and has an equally good colour saturation. It may feel less soft to the touch when first made up but it is the same quality that make it hold a crease much better.

Does anybody know a mill called Robert Laidlaw? I just bought a cut of a fresco sort of fabric. The selvage reads.
SPECIAL TRAVEL SUIT BY ROBERT LAIDLAW SUPER 100 WOOL MADE IN ENGLAND.

I would say it is no more than 250gsm,

I am just curious as I couldn't find anything in the net. Only that there as a mill called Robert Laidlaw in Keith that closed down in 1972. There is no way my fabric is so old.

Thanks in advance!

Well you never know, but its likely the name is being used by one of the big owners of textile firms that bought them all out.
