What, don't like? I think it's beautiful--just don't know if I want to turn it into a jacket.

Mafoo, if you don't mind me asking how much was the fabric per meter/yard and where did you purchase it from? I think the fabric is great, has the qualities I love about Iammatt's huntsman brown/red/purple/green tweed.

I got it from the London Lounge; 75 pounds per meter.

Some more. Several are now 'funded' liabilities.

Once they become funded liabilities, they should be posted in the Jacket Appreciation thread.

IMHO, suit with extra trouser as I feel that with 3 pc or DB you would literally be covered in check

Foo, good choice. I have the same cloth (not yet made int o a jacket) and it looks different every time I examine it. Light can make a big difference with this cloth. I assume yours will be a "one button two patch breast welt" again? I would love to see a comparison of our two jackets when they are ready as they might turn out quite differently.

I too think it's beautiful ... I'd certainly wear it ... but only you know whether it's right for you.

Of course ... if you don't turn it into a jacket ... or sell it ... you could do what I sometimes do ...

I started using a new tailor. The first commission went well, so I plan on trying some more with the following at some point. Crappy pictures. Taylor and Lodge for fall. Loro Piana for spring. 13 oz. sharksin of unknown English origin. Super 100s with 5% cashmere. Super 100s wool and cashere for Drapers. Midweight. Both are 14 oz. Minnis flannel.
