That is their problem ... unless one is concerned about such things.

I'm still with you fellows ... 100%.

Manton sides with us. Done deal!

I hope the colors I have selected -- including this -- for my text do not go unnoticed.

I've got at least one suit with purple pinstripes ... although I prefer the one with pink.

Also, has it ever occurred to you to talk about clothes on this forum?

Pity the man - he has nothing better to do.

I have a suit out of an Alsport gun club that was disontinued about two or three years ago. It is a pretty standard pattern with the exception of a purple stripe. The purple really enlivens the cloth but still disappears at a distance or in dim light. I would definitely have that tweed made up.

In other words: a perfect mafoofan fabric.

If one is inclined to such inferences ... isn't that true of most cloths other than the basic staples ... and even those to some degree.

The question is ... does the wearer intend to imply what is being inferred. Honestly I don't know mafoofan well enough to know the real answer. Of course, my post count is on the "low" side.

kngrimm - Great stuff and thanks for the pics! Andrew is such a pleasure to deal with. Is that the Minnis Fresco in Wheat/Tan color? I have a jacket being made up in that. All of your selections are incredibly classy. Enjoy your commissions!
