Yen by Michiko Koshino and Seal Kay are both London based brands, and both are street and club influenced, which means that a lot of the jeans are a lower rise, baggier style with some tapering. Â A lot of Seal Kay jeans are in heavier weight denim in baggier styles, mostly. Â Lots of wierd fashion details a la G-Star, but also some good basics as well. Â I really don't see the appeal of Yen. Â Some the the "wrinkled" textures are quite nice, but most of the jeans I've seen are excessively detailed and/or washed. Â But then again, I tend to think that American premium denim brands, that are in general less innovative but do a better with the fundamentals, are really the way to go. Edited for typo.
