Viewing SF on mobile browser

Ok, I just dumped my blackjack with MS browser and got a BB Curve. The Curve is way better as an email device -- but, the browser sucks. What is the best way to access styleforum on a mobile device, particularly a BB - I tried Opera Mini but way too much effort to load, zoom, etc.
Any suggestions - other than go back to my blackjack!

Well, works fine for me using the S60 browser on my Nokia phones. I would suggest Opera Mobile or Opera Mini. I did notice you did not like Opera Mini though; have you tried Beta 4?

I did try the opera mini 4. It loads the page in full format with incredibly tiny font - unreadable. You then use a zoom function. Then you find the thread you want and click. Back to the full format, requiring you to zoom again. Way too many steps.
Maybe I'll try Opera Mobile. Now that I think about it, maybe its the "mini" that is driving me nuts!

do you have style sheets and stuff enabled on the BB Browser? Also the new version of the browser offers "Desktop View" or "Mobile View" Desktop view scrolls but also has a mouse like pointer. I have no problems reading SF with my BB Pearl.

Opera Mobile works good.

I could use it fine on crappy WM IE4 on my Q when I had the net service for it. There's a style available for the forum that is supposed to make it easier on mobile users, but I'd have to edit it and stuff.

Opera mini always worked fine for me, but maybe it's a function of screen size or resolution. I was using it on a 176x220(ish) SonyEricsson phone back then.

The difference in viewing a site optimized for mobile browsers vs. those are are not are quantum. The crackberry site (as you can imagine) has an optimized for mobile version and it is very easy to navigate. I bet, given the level of tech savvy amongst the users, a mobile version would be used quite often here.

I know you guys all give your valuable time for free, and we all appreciate what you do, but I don't think you'd be wasting your time setting up a mobile optimized option.

Well, I'll look into it then. M@t was whining about something like this a while back too, I know he'll be happy.
