Bond girl in boots on the Panama set.

Amy Winehouse may be the next Bond theme song singer:

I would just like to say that this woman has earned the GQg33k seal of approval.

Al Pacino may be the big boss as rumors abound he is filming the end scene of QoS. Pacino seemed good in his younger years, but sometimes he seems a bit by the numbers today, let us hope he brings a serious intellectual menace to this part in the vein of the last film. The last characteristic this successfully reinvigorated franchise needs is an easy parody of its main protagonist.

That would be awesome.

I'd agree, Bond's immensely cooler because he's an imperialist and a misogynist, and he laughs at killing people, sitting there slugging martinis, so anachronistic.
Absolutely. I am really looking forward to this one. Could not care less about the title. As long as Bond remains imperialistic, misogynistic and does not turn into Jason Bourne, all should be good. Not sure about the possible use of Pacino but I thoroughly enjoyed Casino Royale and think they took the right path with the character. If they build on what they have started it should be a very good film.

hmmm do you think they were embarrassed to expose the title??? I liked the last bond, mainly for eva green who was exceptional!!! Hoping this one cuts the mustard, but in my opinion theres something missing from daniel craigs bond repertoire!

Everyone seems to hate it, but the title Quantum of Solace is taken from Ian Fleming's For Yours Eyes Only collection of short stories. So it is like, canon or whatever.

They are not the same girl, the big pic is of Olga Kurylenko (the main bond girl), and the small one of Gemma Arterton.

It'll never be the same thing as this, because Bourne is a guy who is against the establishment, who is paranoid and on the run. I just think fundamentally they're just very different things.

No disrespect to him as an actor, but given his personal politics, I think this is just Damon's way of rationalizing his recurring lead role in an action trilogy. There was a time when he was threatening to not make any more such movies until he did some more intellectual, dramatic work.

I need to watch the Bourne movies because Matt Damon was such a doof in The Talented Mr. Ripley. I wish I were Bond, though I might agree with Damon that it is cooler working against the system.

Love Craig, maybe the best one...the poster as well as he always remind me of Golgo 13 lol (which is pretty cool in my book)...

Looks like classic McQueen here, but these are photos from the next Bond flick:

Being an immense fan of both series, i'm inclined to think that the quote from matt damon was made during the filming of the Bourne Identity, a few years before Casino Royale came out. I just feel like what he said does not reflect Casino Royale at all. Theres really only one gadget, and it exists in real life; Bonds phone. Is he misogynistic? A little bit, maybe, but not once he meets vesper. The movie shows us why he might feel the way he does towards women later; he does after all suffer quite a betrayal. I wouldn't even necessarily argue that Casino Royale is not rooted in some extent to reality. Terrorist groups are financed somehow, and why not by shorting massive amounts of stock? I do agree with damon on the fact that the movies are fundamentally different. When i want something edgy and exciting, ill put in a bourne, but if i just want to sit back and delight in smoothness ill go for bond.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
