You got scammed here or on eBay? If it was here, you should post this in the buyers and sellers feedback thread. Nobody is going to see it here.

Ebay seller alexanderjheitman has been annoying to deal with. Didn't ship for two weeks, only responded to messages when I threatened to neg him, then claimed the package had been bounced back to him for a "bad address." It magically made it to me a few days later, without any change in address information. He claimed he'd refund my shipping, and still hasn't done that either. I took a risk on him, had a few negs for similar behavior. Looks like a pattern.

I know some guys search for lightly used Allen Edmonds on the bay, I found a pair of what looked like brand new (no scuffing on soles at all) Park Avenue's and won the auction at $120, seller happyfeetrus sent me a message saying he had accidentally re-listed the Park Avenue's in the picture but that he had some Fifth Avenue's in better condition that he would send. I agreed, just got them last night, they aren't in bad condition at all, but certainly more worn, and the seller happyfeetrus is really bad at responding to emails, or at least, he has been so far. Not telling anyone to stay away, but be sure of what you're getting.

do not buy from smart.man2008 He hid the stain on a shirt with the sleeves covering it in the eBay pictures, and I am currently in the process of obtaining a refund from him. He claims he "missed" the stain, but I doubt he will miss two missing buttons on the top of the shirt together with the stain. Terrible seller.

I buy things on ebay, as well as sell. My suggestion is to watch feedback ratings. If the seller has low feedback ratings, or more than a few negatives (you have to remember that no matter how hard he/she tries to make everybody happy, sometimes negatives still happen), move on to a different seller.

Happy bidding.

Some people are incompetent and cannot tell if an item is fake or a replica. Some people are even content with fakes.
Once in a while you are correct, there are good sellers who get bad feedback, I would suggest investigating the feedback and see the seller response and the buyer's claims.

Then there are sellers with only 100-200 in feedback which is a good amount, but does not necessarily mean they are to be trusted or have legitimate items. When you message them for additional pics they say give me a day, and do not send additional pics. When you ask them for information they are hesitant. But still they might just be lazy, who knows.

Thats why this thread exists.
