Some people are incompetent and cannot tell if an item is fake or a replica. Some people are even content with fakes.
Once in a while you are correct, there are good sellers who get bad feedback, I would suggest investigating the feedback and see the seller response and the buyer's claims.
Then there are sellers with only 100-200 in feedback which is a good amount, but does not necessarily mean they are to be trusted or have legitimate items. When you message them for additional pics they say give me a day, and do not send additional pics. When you ask them for information they are hesitant. But still they might just be lazy, who knows.
