Bought a suit from him - the suit's fine. He accepted an offer then sent it by slow boat instead of his normal shipping and it took a month. He did keep in touch and answered my queries about where in the hell my suit was, so it worked out ok in the end.

Are most of the eBay buyers clueless on fashion? I get people who pass on a nice Corneliani or Canali for a cheap Mani-Giorgio Armani suit or Boss Black suit. I try to explain about full canvas construction and all they want is "Armani". I don't get it! Is that all people know is Armani and Boss?

I've heard from several well known sellers on this board that he is VERY reputable and a stand-up guy. In fact, I think he even posted on this board before (use search).

Hey guys,
I looking for a slim black suit. This ones a Paul Smith. I know it gets shady with a seller in China, but anyone heard anything about highcrazy1688's reputation.

Thanks.

given the huge quantity of fake merchandise coming from China, I would be VERY hesitant to buy something on ebay from there.. if it is not authentic, the fabric and styling (slim fit) might not be up to snuff either
no experience with seller, but have heard too many bad stories

Do not attempt to purchase from Ebay seller - rozario283kuv. He is also a member of the forum - Stardog.

I won one of his auctions yesterday, and immediately after I paid via paypal I received an email from him asking me not to pay as the winning price was too low. The item was a Black Fleece suit which I won for 443, but he said he would not accept less than 700 and made up a lame excuse that he had set a reserve, but it did not kick in for some reason. To his credit, he DID refund my money, but I just wanted to give evryone a heads up to avoid dealing with him because he is childish and will back out of the sale if he does not get the price he wants. According to his feedback, he pulled the same stunt with someone else yesterday with a watch he was trying to sell.

Admittedly, his feedback was shady to begin with so it may be my fault for even bidding on one of his auctions, but I wanted to buy the suit for my dad as a birthday present and figured it was worth a shot for $450. Further, his feedback is now so bad that he may even be kicked off of ebay, in which case this warning is futile.

Anyway, just thought I would give those on the forum a heads up to avoid dealing with im in the future- so you dont waste your time ...

I had a poor experience with ebay seller churchiboucher. I bought a used Burberry from her, which was described as well-worn. When I received it, the sleeve ends were split, there were several large and indelible stains on it, and there was a half-penny sized wear spot in the collar. The coat is basically unwearable. Well worn I can live with, this--not so much.

Her response to my complaint was that this was just a semantic issue! Er, no...

Oh well-negative feedback left, and moving on... And warning you chaps!

Erh....how would you deal with a situation when you bought a 9.5 size shoes but what you received is clearly stated 7.5?

Folks, I recently had a terrible experience with a bidder on one of my items. divine3939 was the winning bidder (swooping in at the last minute) on a rather expensive item and I received zero communication from them. At any rate, I opened a case against them, had to close it due to lack of communication and they received an unpaid item strike from eBay. Very annoying. This person is a longtime eBay member and had a significant number of positive feedbacks, so I was surprised by this. At any rate, I do not recommend doing business with divine3939, so watch out.

Recently Shikar put up a set opf C&J Lowndes shoes which he had bought some time ago and which he suggested on a thread might not fit.

I sent him a PM asking to be made an offer if he resold.

Two days ago I get a PM from Shikar asking if I wanted to buy them and saying he was giving me first offer as I had asked months ago.

I agreed to buy them. I was at work so I could not paypal immediately.

I get home two hours later to paypal them and find two PMs tell me I had not paid and that he had sold them to someone else.

I was pretty annoyed at the breach of the deal and asked him to renege on the deal with the buyer as he had not sent the shoes and had contracted with me.

His response was to inform me that rather than just give me a heads up he had actually PMed 7 people to make the same offer!

As I had not paypaled immediately (after he prevaricated for months about selling them) he sold them to someone else in one hour.

When I demanded he stick to the contract he made with me - no more PMs or even an apology.

Shikar as we say Down Under - you are a total ratbag - and ought to be thrown off the B&S forum
for your unethical behaviour with me (and any other forumites you may have duped) and total lack of courtesy in not apologizing.

I don't know what you think you are doing but you need to lift your game. This is not the culture that is the way we do things here and don't try importing your ideas of business into our ethical dealing.

I hope other forumites take note of how NOT to be a seller on SF.

All of the above information can be verified from PMs if required.

All in all this has left me angry and with a very bad taste in my mouth. Thanks Shikar.

That sucks, but you can thank every jerk-off that PM'd me that they would buy an item and then didn't respond to my requests for payment. For hot ticket items, that happens more than people actually buy the item on first PM. If it wasn't so common that people commit to buying something and then back out or don't respond, situations like this probably wouldn't happen. Sorry you missed out on a deal. When I send over a msg w/ my paypal info as a seller, I will start including a "pay within an hour" clause.
