Ebay Experiences - Seller ratings - Page 34

I guess that wasn't so legal, thus eBay has removed it. LOL

Here is another one.

I'm ticked off because I bought something on eBAY and then then after the transaction was over I gave the seller positive feedback.

He gave me positive feedback too, but he used it as an advertising tool to brand himself. In his positive feedback to me he put "Thank you for shopping at ______ (his brand name/eBAY id)."

So now my profile will permanently serve as free advertising/branding for this guy. I resent that. I didn't give him any permission to pull crap like that.

Is there any recourse available against sellers who do this? I find this to be highly unethical, and morally speaking, should not be allowed IMO.

Now that eBay wouldn't allow negative feedback for buyers, do we need (or do we have) a bad eBay buyer thread to steer us clear of buyers from hell?

I'd like to recommend two sellers. First is armyhardhat. I've purchased a few items from him recently, including a few BB Golden Fleece Suits. Excellent communication, really fast shipping, and great merchandise. I had a question about the color of one suit, and he posted new pictures contrasting it with others within hours. A real pleasure to do business with. Also, he leaves positive feedback immediately on receipt of payment.

I've also had good luck with purchases from joshuab910. He also sells BB stuff from the clearance center. Good items, good prices. Only downside is communication -- I've e-mailed him about a few items he had listed, and he never responds. He also has yet to leave any feedback for me (I've left positive feedback for him after receiving the items), which is frustrating as I've only made a few purchases on ebay, and would like to build my reputation.

Ever since ebay changed some of it's rules sellers aren't allowed to post negative feedback.

What if the buyer's a scammer?

Anyone ever bought from terrym5512 (McLennan's Clothing for men - Film and TV Wardrobe Sales)?

I bought a jacket from him on 8th Dec. and asked for an invoice three times without getting any kind of response. Fortunately I paid nothing so far but I would rather like to upkeep the transaction, as I want the item.

Thoughts what to do?

I've purchased from Terry, fantastic seller. You have nothing to worry about.

Yes, I know, his seller ratings are impressive. This is the actual reason, why I am so puzzled about the total lack of communication...

Should I try to contact him a fourth or fifth time?

Anybody have experiences with this seller?

Just for the book:
It wasn't the sellers fault. Ebay screwed it up. Everything is settled. The seller is very recommandable.

Feedback like this, "Negative feedback rating\tNo response... no item.... M.F. stole my money..... I piss on you..... :-($)" is a sign that sellers sre having problems and trust them at your own risk!

watch out!!

You can put lipstick on a pig but .......

She used to be prayerwarrior02 and had a gross feedback total over 19,000 and a positive feedback rating of 96.5%

Here's the old prayerwarrior02 that screwed hundreds of people! & Here's her Toolhaus.org link!

Now she's clothesxs1 with a gross feedback total over 1,000 and has a 96.9% positive feedback rating.

Here's clothesxs1's feedback of 96.9. & her Toolhaus.org link So far she has only screwed over a 100 people. I guess she is aiming for progress and not perfection.

Maybe she had a twinge of conscience being a "Christian thief" as prayerwarrior02 versus being a good old run of the mill thief called clothesxs1.

Maybe she will get lucky and grow her business and one day be a Ken Lay or Bernie Madoff of Ebay!

Would anyone hazard a guess as to why she would go to the trouble of changing her business name and setting up a completely new account and name, when she is operating the exact same kind of operation?
