Your Douchebag Meter

How much of douchebags can you take? Douchebag activities include talking about MMA, football, how much game they have, making gay jokes, making penis size jokes, trying to show that they're THE alpha male, etc. I had around 4 hours of this yesterday. I think I'm done with people for another good 48 hours.

Nor is talking about MMA. Unfortunately, after UFC went Spike, way more people started getting into it which you can actually notice in the crowd responses; there are definitely more Jaegerbomb drinking douchebags into it now but it's still not "douchebaggy" to talk about it.

Queer.

+1. Neither is MMA really, though I don't care for it myself. Douchebaggery is a state of mind. The term is enjoying far too loose a definition around here.

Funny, I read that as "talking about MDMA, football" and thought "since when are ravers sports fanatics?"

+1, especially in the context of how MMA has influenced contemporary Hong Kong action movies.

I may have a new favorite phrase.

I could not disagree with the OP (original poster) more. I do discuss football and MMA on occasion. And I do not fancy myself a douchebag.

Most douchebags don't.

The average football fan may find a small degree of doucheyness in a discussion of the value of Kiton Shoes versus John Lobb RTW.

That's because they are inbred hillbillies, obviously.
