...well, kinda.

After 14 months we are "taking a break".
It was somewhat at my request.

While I love em fresh and 17-20, when it comes to being in the day to day relationship of things it can get pretty tiresome. Sure, I don't mind going out and stuff like that; but, I don't worry about going to Stereo, Bungalow, Marquee, Home every Thurs-Sat.
I shouldn't feel like I'm taking someone away from something when I want to go out and eat at Cafe Gray or something on a Friday night.

Also, other shit as in the fact that if I have a friend with a dick he worries about if we hooked up prior to he and I dating or if we're going to get drunk and screw. When, half of his friends are little gay boys who I know would love to molester him.

We've agreed to not speak with eachother until next Friday the 15th. He's taking all of his stuff from my house right now back to his dorm.

Sorry to hear about that, SoCal, although you don't sound totally busted up over it. I have a philosophy on these things: They always work out the way they're supposed to in the end. And if they don't? Well, there's no use wasting time wondering about how things might have been. Whatever happens is what happened and you deal.

Sounds like you're already dealing.

Look at the bright side though. At least he didn't make you wear matching outfits.

Good luck on the social scene. Can be exhilerating after a spell on the sidelines.

Haha and the other day when I was at Bergdorf I saw a few well-to-do 28 year old hotties and was like...do I want me one of those?

It's not that I won't go out or don't want to go out...it's just that I've already done that. I've been 19 and in college and partied and all of that.

Indeed, partying gets repetitive after a while, especially if you do it often. And frankly clubs around the world are for the most part, the same (same music, people, style of dress, etc...).

I know I know....like I said them boiz are delicious; but, when it comes down to it I think I have realized that I need a "man". Someone who is more stable in their own life, grounded, might actually take ME out to dinner.

And no I wasn't at BG the other day; plus, I doubt you were on the 3rd Floor.

Also, it's not that I really didn't get the feeling that he didn't want to be with me doing something low key. It's not like he sat there fidgeting or texting the whole time; but, just in the back of my mind I would think "If he wasn't here with me he would be doing the exact oppostie" so it got me to thinking we were not on the same wave length.

That and sex went from every night to 3-4x a week.

I occassionally visit the 3rd Floor, more so on sale days but the first and second are my hangouts.


The sex thing is a function of your time together. Any relationship will have that happen after certain time together. It ebbs and flows after that. It just sounds likes you want the benefits of young multiple partners but wrapped up in a single stable long term relationship. Let me know how that goes. That may be harder to find than a cure for cancer.
