Very true. It could just be a case of "nouveau credit card."

This thread is awesome. If parents just told their kids how much fun toothpaste was, there would be many fewer cavities.

According to my dental hygienist, toothpaste isn't even necessary for good dental health. The mechanical action of the brush and floss is what counts.

She's just generating more income for the dentist and herself that way. My mechanic told me I don't even need motor oil in my engine.

I've heard the same. That if one were to only do one dental practice, it'd be better to floss daily and forego brushing, rather than brushing and not flossing (which is what most do, who don't do both)

Naw I kid. +1 on flossing. The space between the teeth is where you get all the problems. I use these interdental brushes. That plus those disposable flossers makes it very easy to stay on top of it. You can do it one handed in front of the computer.
