I'm pretty sure you can find the answer here. Actually with the AT&T Blackberry service I believe you can have access to up to 10 different email accounts.

For instance you can set up your bellsouth account, gmail account and college email account like I. It is very user friendly and quit handy.

Me, I like the keyboard on the curve better. The keys are shaped differently and are slightly raised. For me typing is easier and I make fewer mistakes.

It also has a camera, while the WE does not. And it is a little smaller and lighter.

But, I'm on Verizon as well so I too have to wait for the latest phones.

If email is your thing then blackberry is hands down the best. And synching with outlook works great.

But the pda is marginal imo and the web browser is a joke. I can't understand why RIM can't seem to get this part right.

I don't know, I'm on Verizon and I'm a fan of my Pearl and the service. I'd like the Curve's keyboard better, but once you get used to the Pearl, you are golden. Plus, you can type with one hand.

The web browser could be better, but I haven't had any issues except with flash content. More complicated pages can be viewed on the Opera browser if you need to do so. I could even post here with the standard BB browser... hell, I found this site the very first time on my Blackberry, not on my computer.

I wish it had wifi and an unstrung GPS; but given it's super tiny profile, low power usage, super fast EVDO network that works everywhere and Google Maps cell tower triangulation (which is at most 2 blocks off) I can deal.

As far as smart phone's go, it's the best of breed. The Iphone is cool, but it's lacking in almost every single category you put it up against the BB except UI. I'd give it web browsing, but EDGE is crap.

I've had a Blackberry from the time it was first introduced many years ago. I'm now on my 3rd, an 8700, and will be switching to a Curve in a month or two. They are great devices that I've become completely dependent upon.

nice tip on Opera...I hadn't tried it...thanks. Any other downloads you'd recommend?

My lifeline, I've been using a BlackBerry for so long I can even recall. Stability, reliability, security and ease, what else could someone ask for.

Oh yeah! The best part of the Blackberry is the free downloads (some pay one's are worth it).

Download Opera! Tops for browsing. The pages are pre-fetched to their servers so it tends to be faster when looking at full HTML sites.

Download everything from Google. Google maps is awesome. It know where you are, and everything else on it works better than it does on your computer. Google Docs will allow you to back up and sync your desktop apps and PDF's and allow you to access them on your Blackberry anywhere. GTalk is Gtalk.

If you use Gmail, get the gmail app. Yes, I have them sent to my Blackberry anyway, but the App will allow you to look up any emails, pics, docs, powerpoints and contacts that is on their servers... which may not be on your phone. Comes in handy if you need to find someone's email or email that you haven't used in a year or more.

I like the Facebook app, if it's your thing.

Flickr (a yahoo app) or Picasa Mobile (Google app) will allow you to upload your pics ASAP. YouTube App will do your videos.

If you want a games, someone actually ported Zelda to the Blackberry, and it's free! The graphics are actually better, like the GBA version, but the game play and maps are from the classic version.

Tons of free games: http://www.mobilerated.com/rim-black...arl-games.html

MS Live search is good for traffic reporting (I like using my Google Maps for other things, but it can do it too).

Ramble IM is fantastic for AIM, better than the AOL app (which only works on Sprint and TMobile anyway).

There are other things out there too. Just google for free apps.

Another 8100 user with T-Mo for about a year. I can't imagine life before BB...probably half of my posts at styleforum were made on my BB during staff meetings or conference calls.

I want the world edition, but the key board just seems so freakin' small. Anyone have problems with it?

I recently received a Blackberry Curve through work and I hate it. I use an iPhone as my personal phone, and before that I had a Motorola Q, and both of them are far superior to the BB in my opinion.

Among the many things I don't like about the BB:

- the user interface is terrible
- the web browser is a joke - why is everything arranged in one column? why is all the text centered? why can't it display fonts?
- speaking of fonts, all of the fonts available on my device are extremely unattractive and low-tech looking - anyone know if it's possible to download additional fonts?
- the call quality on the phone is very poor (and it's not the carrier - both my iPhone and Curve are AT&T and the iPhone sounds much better)
- the trackball is an awful way to scroll and navigate around the screen - the iPhone (touch interface) and Q (arrow keys and a wheel on the side) are far superior

Even the e-mail, which is supposedly BB's strength, is pretty lame. Yes, it is fast, but it can't even display e-mails with graphics or other HTML, and the way that the list of e-mails is displayed on the screen (w/sender, subject, and time received all on one line) is very confusing compared to the Q and iPhone, where the e-mails are clearly listed with the sender in large letters on one line, the subject on a second line, and the first three lines of the e-mail below that.
