I have the 7300 BB. Great phone. I wish I could navigate spreadsheets a bit more easily but otherwise a great phone.

We got his and hers 8830 World Editions just before Xmas. Love them.

I am a phone whore, and have finally purchased my own blackberry after many from work, and many personal PDA phones. I went with the pearl, because of my minimal need of a cell phone while over seas. I have 4 pop3 accounts on here, gmail, gchat, picasa, ssh, it is awesome. I finally found out how to tether my pearl to my mbp so i do not have to pay for that extra tethering fee. great phone, only issue is it does freeze up sometimes. but the amount of times it freezes up is minimal to how often i put it through abuse.

I am very happy with mine. 2 things - I got the world one, that is gsm cdma, and I thought that it would work in korea but it doens't. also, for what ever reason my handheld has a problem with the concept of "+" - in some contries it tries to dial "001" and I end up dialing manually, which is a major pain in the ass.

I use the 8830 for work. Very happy with the email. If I were to buy one today, I'd get the Curve.

You need a 3G compatible handset for Japan and Korea.

Me too, that's why I got the WE vs the Curve. Just a matter of preference though, whatever floats yer boat.

I have the WE. love it, now that I have a full keyboard I'm not so anti-texting anymore

also the email is really fast, I get gmails faster on my blackberry than I do on my gmail PC indicator icon.

also like the internet capability. had another phone a few years ago that I bought the internet package and it sucked, completely unusable. This one works just like a PC browser, for the most part. I can even read StyleForum on it

This is my first BB and I am kicking myself for not getting one years ago. It really fits my busy lifestlyle.

The Curve has a full keyboard. The Pearl is the one with multiple letters per key.

my dad currently uses 2 curves. i absolutely hate the interface on every phone. some of their settings are organized very badly. but it does the email push better than any other smartphone. phone is not so great.
