With Bobby Knight gone and Bonds in limbo, who do you think is the biggest douchebag currently in sports? With a tip of my hat to Mr. Belichick, I think I have to go with Gene Upshaw.

I've never met him, but my God he comes off as a prick. Who would you nominate?

I thought the biggest douchebag in sports was an unnamed South Florida bike rider with a shaving obsession .

Forgot to mention, entire fan bases are not eligible for nomination. Apologies to Red Sox Nation and Liverpool fans.

I'd go for a classic douche and nominate Muhhammad Ibn Ali.

Yeah, Clemens has been both gratingly persistent and underwhelming in defending his 'character'. Frankly I'd respect him more if he came forth and said "sure - I did them."

You cannot go classic as this will open up all sorts of Ty Cobb crap and then we'll get some Dr. Z type droning on about how things were in the day of Knute Rockne or whatever and there will be no way to debate him and it will be boring. Current.
