These are meant to be very airy and loose. I'm a 34 and with a belt there is minimal crumpling and bunching at the waist due to the extremely lightweight material. These have to be the lightest weight pants I've ever felt, which is the initial draw to these.

Engineered Garments Norwegian Army Pants, Tan, SS06 or so, 32W
Condition = Fair to Good. The hems have are frayed.
Dims: Waist 16", F. Rise 11 3/4", R. Rise 16", Inseam 30 1/4", Hem 8 1/2"
And in case you wanted to turn these into shorts, the distance from the bottom of the side pocket to the waist = 22". If that's too long you could also have the side pocket removed or shortened. The EG SS08 Norwegian Army Shorts don't have the side pocket.
