I saw that Eddie Murphy head in Philly some months ago. From what I recall, it runs large.

What's the consensus on the fit of the zip hoodie? I'm a size M in all EG items I've tried, so should I go w/ a M or size up to a L (I've heard to size up).

That herringbone CPO shirt is so nice...too bad I was not fast enough to get it from Den. Bought the navy one to make up for it but seriously, it's no match.

i picked up the wool field parka today. i was surprised at how oversized it is, i got a small and i'm 6'4". the medium was pretty big on me, but it seems to be made as an oversized piece. same amazing construction and detail as you would expect from EG.

I just picked up that hoodie this week from Stuart & Wright. After some assistance from johnny5 on how he sized his, I stayed with my normal size in practically all clothes I wear and stayed with a small. It was perfect for me. A nice fit, but not too snug nor too baggy. Great piece. I'll post some pics when I can. I would say stay true to size.

Yes. Go true to size. If you wear a medium in most go with a medium in the hoodie. I wear a medium in the Bedford and got a medium and the hoodie and the fit is peerrrrfeeecctttt.!! Its an awesome hoodie and actually fits slim.

Could you post measurements of the jeans? They seem really interesting

EDIT: Did you even buy them?
I picked up the Nepenthes NY jeans a few days ago from Odin. The waist stretched out to a 15.5" (I'm a 29 waist) Hem 7.5" Inseam 34" Let me know if you'd like other measurements.

Just picked up this jacket from FW 07 from fellow SF member Pshaw23 My only criticism is there is no button the bottom to close the jacket and the wind here in Portland tonight made it a bit drafty. Otherwise, what an amazing piece!

I've been eyeing the EGxLevi's 1947 since the release, but did not want to pay that huge retail price tag. Some finally went up for sale for a nice price on the Buy/Sell here a couple weeks ago...thought I'd give my impression These are actually very, very nice jeans. All details from the buttery soft leather patch to the hidden rivets to the copper/nickel-plated button fly is a step above anything Levi's that I've seen (could be the same quality as LVC though, I wouldn't know...). The denim has a really good soft hand to it and is a very saturated, deep, dark blue-black. The black stitching including arcuates really sets it off and makes it almost feel like wearing some Rag & Bones. Really the ONLy bad thing I can say about these is that the "ENGINEERED GARMENTS" namesake printed all over the weft is a little tacky, but who is gonna see the weft of your jeans? Oh, the best part, it's also probably the best fitting pair of jeans I have. Did EG do any alterations at all to the 47 cut, or just replace all golden/orange/yellow stitching on a pair of LVC 47s with black, and use a darker denim?

Does anyone know who is carrying the EG scarf is gray herringbone wool? I know blake in Portland had it, not sure if they still do. Any other stockists?

Blake is sold out of it. Have you tried Odin?
