Just found this beauty...3 piece - 95% woo, 5% cashmere
Navy with stripes, heavier flanell-y wool, NWT, a gorgeous suit - too bad it doesn't fit
$490 shipped in the USA...$15 for international shipping

Chest: 22"
Sleeve: 25.5"
Shoulders: 20"
Top to bottom: 33"
Pants: 38" waist x unfinished bottoms

check out one jacket that fits you right and see if the shoulders measurements match.

The shoulders are the hardest modification to get right.

Also in many cases sizing down a jacket will leave you with big armholes, wide sleeves.

You effectively can not make a 44 to a 42, and is not worth the huge expense. Why butcher this beautiful suit?
