So, I had asked and gotten no response, so I done went and bought one:

I bought a cashmere blue blazer, $278.00 with free shipping. It looked great online.
Today it arrived, and completely blew my mind!

It is 100% cashmere, with little to no padding in the shoulders, 3-2 button roll, with unfinished sleeves, fully canvassed, and finished like a dream with very subtle pick stiching every where. The cut is slim and very nicely.

I went to search for the buttons, and low and behold, it was made by Raffele Caruso Sartoria de Parma.

So, for basically a song, we can all get in on these on Yoox and have the wonderful tailored items from an unknown brand (well R Caruso is up and coming).

How did your size fit--did you order your true size?

Yes, it actually was trim, but very well fitted. I am a 44R, but with a 34 waist, the shoulders are not to broad, and very neopolitan in cut, super soft shoulders, nice suppresed waist.
So yes it fit on the trim side of my size.

Nice. Thanks for the tip. I'm taking a flyer on two things, this brown plaid suit with orange (?) windowpane

and this jacket, with patch pockets.

If the maker of these is Caruso/Ma.Co. then they should be quite nice. I believe we've figured out that this maker is doing some Zegna, Lanvin, Barney's House Label, RL Black Label, and others. Those with unfinished sleeves have the stitching which suggests this. I didn't take a chance on those with finished sleeves, but there is some nice looking stuff. I'll report back asap.

Edit - what jacket did you order, antirabbit, and are you going back to the well?

to the SF'er that bought the coat I've had my eye on for the past week, I curse you. if it does not work out, pm me. jamison, good choices. I wish I could pull off the green one. I am sure you will make a stunning appearance with it in the WAYWN thread.

Sartorial cojones, my good man. It may be way over the top, but with grey flannel trousers or tan cover twills, I think it could be nice. It all depends on the fit, of course.

I got the last, it was a blue cashmere blazer, kind of a felt cashmere.

I love how yoox buttons all the buttons on the jackets, including the top button on 3-roll-2s. Geniuses.

From what I can tell, this line is not such a risk.

Well played. You should replace those buttons though. They look black.

Also, Yoox must have the worst item descriptions of any online retailer. "Wool Velour"? Uh, okay. And thanks for telling me how many internal pockets there are!

I'm eyballing this one, and the grey flannel suit (with the horrible picture 4 sizes too big for the model.)

For an other market they have one labled 100% cashmere, but says its striped. Anny tags you can post, and closeup? Who can we guess produce the pants & shirts? Incotex? TNX Speed

Yeah, that is the beauty of Yoox, if you know what to look for, its kick ass.
The buttons are horn, and a nice mottled dark brown.
The colors are a shade off, a few shades lighter in reality.

Their photographs are really horrendous. But that is good for us.

I have gotten lucky a few times.

Oh, this one is from Europe. It had a price tag, actually a few price tags,
It was originally EU 1695.00
I paid $278.00 shipped!

I meant tags inside the coat and closeup of the fabric ... If possible that would be nice . TNX Speed
