Workplace common area sabotage

It's the little things that make my day worth living. I thought I had reached the pinnacle of my day's enjoyment by passing gas in the lunchroom / coffee area, just after brewing a fresh pot of coffee. Still civic-minded, ya know. No one was there to witness it, and I left before the coffee stampede arrived. Then, not 30 minutes later, my french bread caught fire in the toaster oven, and the smell carried clear across the office. Once again, no witnesses. No permanent damage, no one saw me, and no evidence, excepting a lingering smirk. Just the thing to take the edge off the end-of-year tax filings. I'm sure you all have stories to share...

Nothing quite as good as yours.... but I do enjoy my daily crop-dusting of the office.

I regularly let a sneaker loose by customers in my area of the store, especially if another associate is talking to them, ahhahaa. Although, once I encountered a woman who just wouldnt stop, and they were loud, and she wouldnt let me get away from her she kept on asking me questions. It was horrible, I was like "Eh, yeah this computer blablabla" *her farting* "Umm, I need to get a phonecall" Her:"wait, really quick does this blablabla" *continuous farts* Thinking to myself "Oh fuck get out of here" saying "umm I really have to get that call" *brisk walking away*

This one time, I ate lunch in the breakroom.

Sorry, no farts or burnt stuff.

I put the empty milk/creamer carton back into the fridge.

People leave notes on the vending machine all the time -
"This machine owes Kathy Mitchell 35 cents. Rm 152" and the such. I routinely leave notes saying "This machine owes me eleventy billion dollars"
I also love to burn popcorn, I mean absolutely char that shit, turn the tv to news instead of soaps, etc... I hate my job and hate that this is what constitutes rebellion at this point in my life.

At least you're not near the Montana/North Dakota border!

Hey, you laugh, but the summer (all six weeks of it) is absolutely beautiful. No people, beautiful scenery, I loved it. And then winter came and I was trapped inside for four months.

You know, you could leave a note on the door to Rm 152, saying Kathy Mitchell owes the firm 5 cents for the post-it-note she used, plus another 5 cents for the ink used in writing the note. Lost productivity would then be another 25 cents.

One time at my last firm, an associate put his dinner from the night before in the fridge for lunch the next day, but to his chagrin someone took it. He then posted a note on the fridge - "Whoever took my chicken parm you owe me $9.00 yada yada." A guy I worked with saw this and wrote on the note - "Ok tough guy - I took your lunch - what are you going to do about it?" And signed the name of the guy who worked in the cube next to him..........

Funny, that's usually why people switch to decaf in the first place...

The tags for this thread are just terrific. These happen to be four of my favorite things.
