I'm spying some brand new additions to the Red Wing Heritage line for Fall. Some new leather options too. These will be must kops -- especially the "Ice Cutters" -- looks like they may be wool lined? Nice.

So how often does Red Wing hold sales at their stores?

And do they usually have sales across the board (including their heritage line), or will only specific boots typically go on sale?

What's the best place to buy some red wing boots online that ship to Australia?

If people did tell you that, then they are doing everyone a disfavor cos those stores will no longer ship them to Australia. Your local Red Wing distributors will file an injunction to stop cross border sales. That's the reality. And it is why stores like revolve, cultizm doesn't ship them anymore.

No one has told me anything. I was asking if there were any stores that sell and ship red wings to Australia. So what's the story? No international sales? The only place that sells them here (Melbourne AU) is a dinky little store with not much stock and inflated prices. Sounds like I might have to use an on shipper

They are still a few online stores that ship them internationally.

So I've had my Red Wings for about 6 months.  Honestly, I am not impressed. It is a good boot overall, but the lack of sizing options when it comes to width is a killer.  Yeah, they broke in and yeah they are comfortable now, but they look odd on my feet...  I wish there were more options for us who have wider feet.  I will definitely stick with Aldens... But I really wanted to love Red Wings.

It seems in Asia RW comes in E width when alot of the same model in the US only has "D".

Which boot did you get? I've got wide feet and the 875s fit pretty well. The Beckmans are pretty narrow for me.

I'm just about to start a new job in a pulp mill, and I need to get some steel toes. Any recommendations?

Did you manage to find any? I'm in Melb as well, and tried the local store to no avail.

I'm actually trying to find a pair of the updated 875s (http://www.redwingshoes.com/877-and-875) with Oro Legacy leather and silver hardware. Red Wing customer service wasn't helpful at all in finding an online retailer that's selling the new versions. Does anybody know of any online stores that are definitely shipping the new 875s?
