Could you guys with Beckmans (9011 especially) comment on the interior climate of the boot? Do these breathe well, is the leather lining wicking, or do they get hot and swampy over the course of full day wear? Thanks.

Received a pair of Gray 8152's for Christmas.  I've been wearing them daily to break in. The right foot (which is bigger than my left) is almost comfortable, but a huge difference from day 1.  Love the color and the left is now wicked comfortable.

Yep, my post in the Obenauf's thread-

But I do not use it on the featherstone leather of my Beckman's. Could, but I have other boots to wear when I want total waterproof protection. And want to keep the black cherry color as is.

The Beckman I have is no better or worse than what you would expect from a leather boots/shoes in term of ventilation.

In fact, if you intend to wear your Beckman in cold weather, be reminded that it has no insulation, your toes would get cold even if you wear wool socks.

Wool socks are your friend for wicking away moisture and keeping your feet warm

There's your problem. Sizing down in boots is a strange styleforum phenomenon. Next time, go with the same DB size. Allows for nice thick socks in wintertime. In summer, use an insole.
