i chose the express shipping btw, which was the same price as the standard shipping. their shipping procedures are a bit confusing, which is why i ask. not that it matters of course, it shows up when it shows up. it's a bit ironic that i'm ordering a shoe that's cheaper overseas when it was made in the usa...

Their shipping is amazingly fast; I've received things in a day.

Has anyone had any experience with Cultizm's return policy? Would I have any problems exchanging/returning if I were to order the wrong size?

stickonatree,

I had to sign for the package. I happened to be home at the time, so it was no problem. You can contact Fed-Ex to ask about their policy if you plan on being away.

ok, i just signed for the package. i ordered tuesday night, and received it at 9:30am thursday morning. INSANELY fast from halfway around the world! so after some inspection, the only thing i noticed "wrong" with the shoes was some cracking in the leather around left shoe forefoot area. however, given the overall thickness of this leather i doubt it'll be any problem, they probably just left it out on a shelf too long. also they didn't ship in a separate box, so now i'm forever reminded of the place where i bought them from. here's a photo of the intense color for those of you still on the fence, more burgundy saturated than on zappos:

Get Smart post with the GTs.

I usually wear an 11 and sized down to 10.5.
They were incredibly stiff when I first put them on and almost felt too small
but after some wear they've softened up and the 10.5 feels right.
I think a 10 would be too small for me.

I went to my local Red Wing shop and the clerk said they were in the computer but were Euro only right now, but they would have them this coming Spring. I asked him to estimate the price based on wholesale and he said 180-190. For those who were able to order them, what price was it? I want to wait til they have them in stock to avoid any sizing problems.

that's weird. did you ask him to look up the style #9011? when i asked about 2 weeks ago, the lady told me they didn't have it in stock at that particular store, but would ship it from the factory to the store for me to try on/buy. the 9011 on redwingcasuals.com here has MSRP of $240. interestingly enough, on cultizm without the VAT it's about $180, with shipping bringing it up to only $200.

I wasn't aware of the 9011 version, the one I asked him to check on was 1911. Interesting...

from what i know, the 1911 version differs from the 9011 in that it has the RW logo on the side of the boot. in fact, it's the one that's shown on the cultizm website, but they shipped the logo-less one to me anyway (which is better, imo). mine's made in the USA, maybe the other one's cheaper because it's made somewhere else?
