A bit of hyperbole with their marketing as "the best cotton". That is certainly subjective and depends on how the cotton is used and woven etc. Sea Island cotton is some of the most expensive but due to its softness it is probably best not to be used in Jeans.

That being said, Momotaro makes great jeans BUT I tend to wear my jeans to the office in a business casual setting but even if I didn't, their external branding is a bit much for me (pocket stripes more so than the pink selvedge).

Even PBJ's embroidered leaf on the pocket is more than I would prefer but it is easier to live with.

You could check Bravestar Selvage for black denim. Inexpensive and MiUSA. I don’t have any experience with them but they’re another low cost option for jeans

Thanks. They look pretty good and the price is on point. I was thinking about going Gustin again just because I’m confident in my sizing, but I’d like to try something different. I’m a lot less fussy with black jeans.

Do Bravestar ever run sales?

I don’t know if Bravestar runs sales. Possibly, but I suspect it’s not often because their denim is already inexpensive compared to most other MiUSA brands.

I have a new pair of sanforized jeans with an 8.5” opening that hang up on my boots when I stand up after sitting. Love everything else about them but would really like to stretch an extra 1/2” of width into that bottom leg.

Is it worth trying and , if so, how?

I’m not sure you can actually stretch the leg opening that much.
I’d suggest taking a few seconds to correct the issue after or before standing.

Hi guys I really struggled to find a thread for this so I hope this is the right one despite it not being posted in for a while! I tried on some really nicely priced Edwin selvedge jeans the other day and they fit me great apart from one area at the lower end of my butt where the fabric sticks out and looks like I did a small poop. I really thought it looked weird and because of this, I did not buy them.

Can any knowledgeable and experienced people tell me why this happened and if it is something that would disappear with wear or if it would be a permanent issue? :)
