I need:
  • Black Jeans
  • Waist size 31-32, 33 if unsanforized
  • 12"+ thigh
  • Low Rise
  • Less than 8" hem

Helpppp

from self-edge:

imperial shearer? waist may be too big
iron heart cyclist? prob sold out

can't come up with anything else off the top...you may need to find a good tailor. i recently bought a pair off B&S that had been tapered by Denim Doctors (in LA?) and they did an excellent job, turning a slim boot into a real slim taper.

nudie makes an Average Joe Dry Black Coated. straight cut, not overdye but the coating makes these SUPERblack and evens out the rough texture and weave of the denim. they could almost pass for pants (not jeans). the stitching is all black as well.

Can anyone inform me of a few names which are known for having a smaller/shorter yoke? Higher/smaller back pockets. I know APC, I've heard a few people not liking them much for this reason but I'm rather interested in it.

PRPS Rambler. Thigh is like ~11.5", but they'll stretch.

Forgot to mention, if you like those, you should email Gilt. They MAY have one in your size left over from the sale they had a little while ago (they were priced at $88). In my experience, they are really good to deal with about purchasing from past sales. I've done it a few times actually.

I would also like some black jeans, but meeting the following criteria: Waist: 30-30.5 Front rise: 10-11 Back rise: < 14.5 Thigh: ~11 Knee: ~9 Hem: ~8.75 I've checked RB11s, Jean Shop Classic, Nudie RADS already... Perhaps Crate James in 30?

Simple question: I have two pairs of jeans that are too big for me. They fit once. Now, after six months of marathon training, they're 1-2" too big in the waist, although satisfactory otherwise.

What can I do?

I've tried soaking them in hot water, then drip-drying.

Both are sanforised, I believe. One pair are Aika GIs. The other are Edwin.

Any suggestions?

The Aika ones are a bit long, and looser than I'd like. I'm tempted to see if I can get them shortened and tapered - though I'll lose the chainstitch, and will have to make sure they can take them in on the inside, so as not to lose the selvage line - and wonder if I can have them taken in at the waist, of if they'd just look rubbish.

You can try taking in the waist. Some have done so with supposed fair success but I can't see a run-of-the-mill tailor being trusted with such a task without some sort of butchering or expected failure. Usually it's not just the waist that's stretched out. Try wearing a belt and see how much that helps, otherwise, I'd assume that more adjustments would have to be done with the entire top block.

hi ive been lurking here for a while
and ive been wondering what raw denim jeans i should get
as im in australia and its fairly hard to find any
im thinking of getting some plain evisus
and the other option is the nudies but dont' really want the nudies as everyone has a pair, and gstars are a tad expensive $400
im size ~30
looking for a straight not too tight fit
any suggestions?

You haven't been lurking long enough. The majority of our brands are <$400 and infinitely better than Evisu (or Nudie)

Can I get my F380's tapered in at a tailor from the bottom thigh down to hem to resemble 05BSP's??
