Skull S5010XX 6x6 Raw
PBJ 005 Raw
Warehouse Dubbleworks 660
Eternal 811BG

And the winner was...Warehouse 660.

I got them in today and have some fit questions.

First, I sized down one from my actual measurements and got a size 30. The top block is tight, but not super tight. The waist is just about right when standing, but when sitting there is about a 2" gap from my back to the denim.

The thighs are not tight and almost relaxed. It's a little hard to tell about the knee and leg opening because of the long hem, but I would say they're fine. My feeling is I could go slightly slimmer, but probably not much.

Lastly, the left leg is starting to twist already. The seam is correct on my hip, but up by my kneecap at the knee. Is this normal or something to be concerned about?

I called Gordon at BIG to ask questions, but apparently he was too busy to help me. I got a call back, but it wasn't him. It was an Asian guy that tried to be helpful, but wasn't.

So, they don't have a 29, so that's not an option.

What's the consensus on what I should do from here?? Noob q, but are these supposed to soak and then wear or just wear?

Got to decide quickly as their policy says I have to return w/i a week.

Thanks.

If you just got them from BiG they are raw. You need to soak them, and they will shrink considerably in the waist and thigh. From what you said it sounds like you will have a nice fit post-soak.

My new Diors are too big. Should I go down 1 size or 2?

cut is not for you. The waist looks tight but the legs look massive.

The waist is about perfect, so if it stretches 1-2 inches I can afford to size down. But maybe the 19cm cut would be better? I'm not a fan of skinny jeans though.

looks huge in the thighs. You should probably size down two more because Diors stretch quite a bit.

The 19cm wouldn't help would it? It's not any slimmer in the thigh, just the calf and hem right?

It's slimmer all the way through.

You sure? I just compared the measurements in this thread to my 21s and the waist, thigh and knee are the same. Only the hem is different. They do look slimmer though in pics I've seen. http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=60264

Look at those pics and help me out. Should I size down 2 in the 21cm, switch to the 19cms and maybe size down 1, or just give up on Diors altogether? I like a nice fitting slim cut, but not skinny. Thanks for your help.

Warehouse are supposed to be soaked. These jeans have a big leg twist and is natural to the denim. I cuff my 660s and the selvedge on the left leg is right in front while on the right leg it's on the side. Just part of the character of these jeans. I love the fit on my pair.

lolwhythehell would you buy ~$500 Diors if you don't like the Dior look?

Those are not a good fit in any respect, apart from at the waist. I doubt you can afford, medically, to size down too much. I question the existence of 21cm when the cut isn't even flattering and the build quality isn't exceptional. It's the Slimane fit of the 19cm which perhaps justifies a % of the premium.

19cm in my view is a much better cut. However I think you should ditch those fuckers and buy some lower priced slim straights. Like KMWs or even Levis, damnit.

LOL I did not pay $500 or anywhere close to it. I bought the Diors to try on, knowing I can flip them easily if they didn't work for me. The 1950 KMWs are okay on me, but I hate the pockets. I have plenty of great jeans. I just wanted some black Diors because they hold their color so well. I guess I'll try the 19cms.

So, since the top block is fairly snug right now, should I cold soak these instead of hot soak? Or, just hot soak and grin and bear it until they stretch back out?

Thanks.
