What does BiG mean when they say this about black denim?

Due to the white core at the center of the warp threads, fading is similar to indigo denim jeans.
How do black jeans usually fade that makes it different from blue denim?

I was looking at pics of the black coated Nudie Thin Finns and they look like leather pants. Are they really that leather-y looking?

depends on how denim was dyed. there are 2 kinds of dyeing__ yarn-dyed [before weaving] and piece-dyed [after weaving]. when yarn is dyed to the core, the fade on fabric is even, no contrast fading.

so the average pair of black jeans usually only fades in a retard uniform manner?

yes. no different than the fade of a pair of khakis or non-denim/twill jeans.

I'm confused, so 3sixteen's black will fade evenly, slowly get lighter into a more whiter colour?

3sixteens should start to fade into indigo in the higher wear areas, i believe. so like on indigo jeans where it gets lighter and then gets white? 3sixteens will fade to indigo.

Ah, intresting.

I got my 3sixteen indigos today. waist is perfect, thighs is tight. I'll post pics later.

Are the thighs supposed to be tight? Will they stretch?

I would like some help with the sizing on KMW rockers

My true waist is a 29. If I go 3 inches down from my bellybutton then it's a 31.
(I wear a size 27 in APC NS)

Should I get the Tagged size 28 on these? I'd like the slimmest best fit possible without constricting my nuts

28 sounds right. maybe 29 since they are pretty low rise and will sit on your hips.

Would it be wise to wear raw indigo with white shoes like jack purcell's? What if you roll up the bottom?

Is the bleeding that bad? Will it bleed on my wallet if I put it in the pocket?

If your wallet is leather, it won't bleed. If it is some sort of canvas fabric, it likely will. If the raw indigos are brand new they will bleed a lot onto white purcells, but a lot of people don't mind/like that. Cuffing it will help but it will still bleed.

Ah. Does that also go for leather jack purcells, or because its leather it won't get bled on, just the fabric portions of the shoe.
