I need some help to id this PRPS jeans http://www.bluefly.com/PRPS-black-se...301/detail.fly I can't tell if this is the impala or barrucada fit. it doesn't give the usual PRPS style number (which I can't decipher anyway), but it says "relaxed fit". Anyone familiar with prps knows the measurement of this jean? i'll pass if the hem is wider than 8.5".....

Ha, thanks. I get their e-newsletters all the time but totally blanked. They usually have good sales, too.

I think I've become too much of a snob to wear something mainstream like ES regardless of how great their washes are compared to anything else in that price range/aesthetic. 5EP makes great denim but oddly I can't say I've ever seen their washed pairs in person. KMW, however, is really nice in person. Nudie makes a wash for every man, woman, and child. I'd also recommend RRL for some subtle washes. I think Mauro is/was carrying the raw/one wash and light models but there are still quite a few pairs of the older stuff on ebay, a good chunk of them under $100, that have very subtle whiskers and distress. They're a total bargain.

I'm gonna search ebay then, I've been wanting a pair of RRL raw denim and if they have a wash in raw that would be awesome! Hopefully the fit is right though; I'm guessing RRL slim

You'll have to look around but RRL doesn't really make anything that's as slim as the NS and with as high of a rise. You might have to compromise but since they'll be more "beater" jeans than anything else I don't think it'll be that big of a deal, especially for the price and the quality.

Would you prefer noobs speak only to noobs?

Re: RRL; if you live in a big city, it sometimes pops up at places like TJ Maxx and Marshall's. Apparently it also sometimes appears at Polo factory stores.

It would be better than whodini's multiquote diatribes where you can actually hear him jacking off to the sound of his own voice in his head.
