Well no I suppose not..

All I have right now is a 24" ruler.. how do you think I should measure?

I did forget that my pants' crotch hang lower than my actual crotch

If this tells you anything, here's what I just did

using the 24" ruler I measured from the floor (I know that's not correct) all the way to the inside of my actual crotch (top of my thigh right next to my ball sac etc) and it equaled 30"..

so I don't know, maybe I'm a 28" inseam?

Everything is still so baggy on me.. perhaps because I don't wear my waist at my belly button..

Don't measure your legs. Measure your pants (ones that fit). Follow this guide: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/inde...d=30&Itemid=41

Yeah I think it's closer to 27"-28".. I just wasn't wearing my pants right.

Your waist dictates how baggy the pants will be. The wider the waist, the wider the thigh, the wider the knee, the wider the hem. Most pants with a narrow hem are simply not designed with your proportions in mind. You are at extremes--your waist size is close to the largest most regular manufactures offer and your inseam is below the smallest. No matter what you buy you are probably going to have to get it tailored to fit the way you desire.

ehh guess I"ll have to live with it then until I somehow reach a size 34 waist someday..

anyway how much will they shrink though? will they still be baggy?

STF /= magic pants. It doesn't mean that the pants will somehow form to your body or fit any better than the same cut in a different pre-shrunk fabric. It simply means that the waist and inseam will shrink a tad after washing.

I was looking to purchase a pair of good society slim leg jeans in the raw finish. I was wondering if any members had any pictures of the fit of these particular jeans. I have also seen on this site that a few pairs have gone up for sale shortly after being purchased. I was wondering if there was a reason for that and whether or not i should take caution in purchasing them . The only two sizes i have been able to find online are 30 and 33. I was leaning toward the 30 as i read the pair of size 29 jeans fit 31 to 32 comfortably, so i figured i would be safe with a size 30. If anyone could provide me with pictures/first hand testimonials/advice/suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks In advance.

anybody?

I apologize if i came off as impatient, however, I was mainly looking to see if there had been any personal testimonials about the fit/quality of the jeans rather than pictures on models on a website.

why don't you just size down 1 on levis 511 if its not slim enough in your true waist size. i imagine you can get them pretty cheap. also easily can try them on yourself in person.

Go with the 5EP LDB...it's the least boot-cutty of the boot cuts...which is a good thing (many would say a very good thing). SF member Augusto## wears these a lot, search WAYWT for some of his fit pics. He makes them look like a boot cut I might want to buy. Oh and 5EP blows Nudie out of the water in terms of denim. Nudie is a good transition denim but let's be honest, you're not exactly buying a sport bike here, it's just pants. Go for the gold the first time!

Sizing is a whole other issue. First, make sure you're really a 32.

I'll stop answering all your questions now and give someone else a try.

Thanks for your help. I've always loved the Nudie pocket design and since I want to have at least one pair of them I decided to go for the RRDS. I ordered from kitchener for $215 including shipping which was the best deal I could find. I tried some on at Barney's first and I felt comfortable with a 32. If these work out, which I'm sure they will, I'll probably try the 5EPs next.

Skull S5010XX 6X6s (indigo)? Is it worth going Raw over One-Wash? Also, 28" true waist, sz26 19cm, sz28 nudies? I've heard size 27 for skulls, but it was from a dude on sufu w/ 4 posts, can anyone confirm?
